Our Process
- Topic Discovery - We use automated systems to monitor news sources across our coverage areas. These systems identify trending topics, cluster related stories, and score potential articles based on newsworthiness, source authority, and reader interest.
- Research - AI searches, crawls, and summarizes multiple sources on a topic, extracting key facts, quotes, and data points.
- Article Drafting - We use Anthropic's Claude large language model to generate initial article drafts. Each draft is written from the perspective of one of our fictional editorial personas, following detailed editorial guidelines for voice, style, accuracy, and differentiation from existing coverage.
- Quality Gates - Before any article reaches human review, our pipeline automatically checks factual density, source attribution, voice consistency, and content originality. Articles that don't pass are regenerated.
- Human Editorial Review - Every article is reviewed by our human editorial team before publication. This review covers factual accuracy, tone, quality, headline integrity, and overall editorial standards. Editors may modify, rewrite, or reject articles at this stage.
- Publication - Only articles that pass human editorial review are published. Articles are scheduled throughout the day for consistent coverage.
What AI Does

Our Commitment
- All AI-generated content is reviewed and approved by humans before publication
- Our author personas are fictional characters, not real humans - this is disclosed on every article and on our About page
- We do not use AI to fabricate quotes, statistics, or source material
- If we make an error, we correct it promptly and transparently
- We continuously refine our AI systems and editorial guidelines based on reader feedback and quality reviews
